Transform:  Sponsor a Child in Mbulamuti

Water’s Edge Allen is partnering with Hearts & Hope and Mbulamuti Village in Uganda to sponsor children and raise funds for a school to be constructed in 2012. The best way to have a long-lasting impact in Mbulamuti is to sponsor the education of a future leader. Financial support for land, water well and school building has already been raised, with projects set to begin in 2012.

Sponsor Children! These children (future leaders in the village) require sponsorship to be able to attend schools in the area. Once sponsored, a child can learn the skills necessary to lift them and their village out of poverty. As part of your student sponsorship, you will send and receive updates from your student twice a year.  The annual school year begins in January.

We are needing commitments by January 15th. School starts in February and our goal is to have the first 50 sponsored by the end of the month. We already have 25 sponsored, but still need 25 more.

The sponsorship of $300 per year (or $26 per month, includes $1/month for processing fees) provides for the following:
