W.E. Connect

Water’s Edge Allen is all about real people who struggle with sin and life but have been captured by the amazing love and grace of Jesus Christ. We are not a perfect bunch but we are on this journey together. We are passionate about seeing Jesus connect with people, seeing families connect with each other, and seeing those on the journey connect and love those around them at work, in their neighborhoods, and in their communities.

If you would like to talk about connecting with Waters Edge Allen, we encourage you to join us on Sunday Mornings as we gather together for Worship at Kerr Elementary. A few times a year, we will offer “First Step” gatherings for those want to learn more about the core attitudes that drive us along with some Bible 101 stuff. There are two Core Attitudes that drive all of what we do: 1) Eternity Matters Most, and 2) It is not about me.  We see in both of these phrases direction for not only Water’s Edge Allen but for our daily lives as well as we come to see how they directed Jesus. It was our Eternities that brought him down from heaven to live, minister, and finally sacrifice himself on the Cross. He knew there was no other way for us to have eternity in heaven with him. As you look at his life, you see a man who lived totally for others. You see it in how he served and loved those around him and who he hung out with, the tax collectors, prostitutes, and other that many looked down at. Let us all live in such a way that others Eternities Matter Most in our lives and have the attitude that it is not about me, my reputation, and my well being but those who God has places around me.

  KidConnect is our children’s ministry designed with your child in mind! Children, birth through fifth grade, are taught that God, the father loves them, Jesus saves them, and that the Spirit guides them. Come experience the fun where kids learn to connect life and faith.

• Family Connect

  Family Connect is designed to support, encourage, and equip parents as they take the lead in the spiritual development of their children. We are committed to help families live out God’s will and show His love in their everyday lives.

• Bible Studies & Training

  So why do we call it training rather than study? Studying by nature is simply the gathering of information. Training is the posture of not simply gathering
  information but seeking effective ways to live out that new information.
